1st day of the "Another day, another polish" challenge for February 2016

Hi guys, and thank you for joining me on this journey!

As some of you might know, I'm doing a challenge for the whole month of Feburary, where I try to paint my nails every day with a different polish. Mainly because I don't change my colours often enough, but also to give my untried pile a chance to shrink.

I saw so many people doing these kind of challenges in the past, and I did liked them all! However, there was one, which stood out from the others, and that was from The Nailasaurus. She did a 31 day challenge, which was amazing! I checked it out every day, and was wondering, it must be hard to have the commitment, once you decide to do it.

I was right, I'm only on the first day, but I do struggle to keep up with the time... :)

I haven't had a problem to choose the first colour, as I thought, I will have a kick start with this stunner.

Here is the multiple award winning amazing indie of 2015:

Berry Good Looking from Cupcake Polish

Whoever knows this polish will agree with me, that it is kind of hard to describe. It is definitely a purple polish with a pink shimmer running trough it, but it also has this very strong neon violet and hot pink holographic rainbow.
Stunning, mesmerizing, eye catching, mind blowing polish!

The first coat went on very easily. This polish is a little bit thin, but it's insanely pigmented, and it's very easy to work with. It did dried to a semi-matte finish, so a topcoat will be needed.
It does dry rather fast, so to avoid stripes, and pulls I had to work quickly.

The second coat was just like a hint of velvet, deepened the color quiet a bit, and also smoothed any imperfections:

Unfortunately my camera doesn't likes purple (I tried my normal bulb, also tried a daylight reflector, didn't help...), and doesn't gives the gorgeousness of this polish back...
Here is the picture with the daylight bulb:

Actually, there must be a problem with my view finder, as the pictures are quiet close to the real colour...

To smooth everything out, and give the stunning colour a layer to shine trough, I added a topcoat:

I couldn't resist when the Sun came out, and tried to capture the insane colours in this polish:

I have to say, this polish brings me out of my comfort zone slightly, although I like bright colours, purples and pinks are not really my cup of tea.
But this time I fall head over hills into this polish!
When it first came out, it was sold out within a few minutes. I didn't understood why is everybody raving about it so much? After about a month it kept coming back to me, so I gave in and bought it.
I don't mind at all! It was the best decision I could make!

Will definitely stay in my collection, and I won't be afraid to use this pretty at any time! :)

I hope you liked this review, and thank you for stopping by! Xxx
