Pueen Theme Park Collection stamping plate review

Hi guys!

I'm back today with another stamping plate review. :)

I ordered these plates straight after they launched as I just fell in love with them. I do have another Pueen plate, so I was not questioning the quality. This brand is growing fast, and I have to say, they have a big selection of stamping supply.

The plates just arrived earlier this week, and I couldn't wait to try them!

Here I have an overview of them (sounds very posh on my two plates...) :)

They are both from the newly released "Theme Park Collection". This collection contains 4 stamping plates. I bought two of them, and was as excited to receive them as it would be Christmas.

Well, here they are, and I couldn't be happier! :)

Both plates were coming in a paper sleeve with a little plastic window (sorry, I had to take the blue film off this one before I made the picture) The whole packaging screams good quality already.

The first one I would like to talk about is the "Visual Wonderland 01".

On the back it's got instructions how to use the plate, with a background out of the images on the plate.

It does have geometric and also visually confusing images. Love it so much!!! The plate has got a thick plastic back, which helps in the use, will prevent any bending and the sharp edges of the plate aren't a danger to anyone! 

The back of the plate got the same patterns on as the sleeve, and also the name of the collection and the plate itself.

My hand was itching to make some swatches of these images, so here they are:

I probably don't have to tell you, I was squeaking! I really feel inspired to jump deep into decal making with all the different images on this plate! Absolutely amazed by the quality of these carvings, I haven't had an issue picking up any of the pictures, even the more detailed and fine lined ones like shown on the last picture.

With the other plate I was just as excited! :)

This plate is called "Marble Paradise 01" simply because it contains all images which look like water marble. So whoever is struggling with dripping polish in a cup of water, this might be the ultimate solution!

As you can see the plate contains all sort of designs what can be made by water marble. Amazing images!!!

The back of the plate is just as stunning! I really enjoy that they gave so much attention to details with these plates!

The icing on the cake is, that these images are quiet large. I do have wide nails, so unfortunately some of the images on plates by different brands won't fit my nails... However these are so big, I had to change the stamper to be able to pick up the whole image properly! :)

I'm absolutely blown away! Stunning images, incredible quality, very easy to use! The images would fit from small to wider nails, which is the added bonus!

Really want to start to experiment with decals now, so many colour combinations are swirling in my mind now! :)

All in all I'm very happy I bought these plates! AliExpress haul #4

Hi guys!

Here I have the fourth and last haul from my shopping spree at AliExpress. I have received all the items purchased, non of them were lost in the post. Some sellers were amazingly quick, some slow, some really really slow...

Let's get the negative experience out of the window first, which is that despite their size and well known extremely huge variety of products they are selling and shipping world wide for free, they still don't accept PayPal. I've been charged a fee buying from them, and this puts me off a little...

Back to the last bunch of the stamping plates, here is an overview what's included:

I was excited about these, as I really love all the images!

Here is the one and only little round one in this group:

Here is the link to this one. As the previous round ones, this plate is not coming in a collection, it is listed individually. Also made some swatches how it stamps:

I was pleasantly surprised how well the images worked! You know you love a plate if you already have lots of creations in your mind! :)

The next on up is one of the rectangular ones:

This plate comes in a collection, here you can find all 20 of them. I have to say I was very lucky with all the plates I bought, however this one was absolutely and completely disappointing. Sometimes it happens, that the carving is not deep enough, and doesn't matter how hard I try, I just can not get it work. This happened with this plate, I tried several images, different polish and stamper, unfortunately it ended up in the bin... (yes, I could have contacted them, but I run out of time...)

With the next one I had more luck, although it was not 100% perfect either...

Some of the images picked up mah... some of them were very good! I do not give up on this plate just yet, definitely will try it out more thoroughly!

I'm gonna go in with the HK plate next. I really really wanted to love this plate!The images are delicate, well detailed, and also there is a good selection of designs. You can find the whole HK collection here. I have to admit, I did struggle with this plate as well... I tried different polishes, stampers, tried to be as quick as I can. Was just not working perfectly... :(

Some of the images picked up nicely after 2/3 tries, but others, the more detailed ones are just to shallow...

Sad, disappointing, but the risk is always there, if you buy stuff cheap...

The last plate however... OMG!!! Love it! This plate comes in a collection of 10 plates, and they are Konad dupes. If you are interested on this plate, here is the link to all of them.

Stunning images, works like a dream, picks up easily, just amazing!!! This was a bit more on the pricier side, but it absolutely shows on quality!

They were all amazing! Just look at the tiny details on the last picture! Absolutely incredible! :)

I did enjoyed this plate very much! :)

All in all I had a positive experience with AliExpress. Will I purchase more from their website in the future? Probably. Will it be soon? Probably not.

I think I do have enough plates to try for the next 10 years or so, not even mention the newest collections coming out...

Regarding the quality of these plates I have to say there were hiccups, but compering to the price I can live with that. Majority of them is very good! I also had bad experience with a well known brand, I had to send the plate back, and ask for a replacement, as it was just not working.

So my verdict is if you are looking for good quality, very affordable plates and you don't mind to wait a bit longer, definitely check out this website. They always got very good deals and as I mentioned a huge variety of products.

AliExpress haul #3

Hi guys!

Here I am with the third but not last AliExpress haul. I got all the stamping plates delivered now, and I have to say, I haven't been disappointed in any of them!

Here is today's collection:

Let's start with the rectangular plate:

It is from Cooi collection, and it's the number 28. This is another one which could be like a "something from everything" plate. It's got geometric patterns, floral images also some mermaids and laces. Here you can find the whole collection. Although the plate is good quality, this product arrived the last, so the delivery was rather slow...

Here are some pictures how the plate stamps:

The details on this image are so delicate and small, I was curious how it will pick up. I'm absolutely delighted! It picked up beautifully! All the little dots of the flowers are there! Very happy chick here!

I really like this image as well! Can't wait to try! All in all this plate is amazing!

The other four plates are little round ones with fun images on them. These plates were not in a collection, they were individually listed. Here is the first:

Love the versatility of these patterns, they are fun, but with certain colour combination I think they could be elegant as well. Here you can find the link to this plate. Absolutely happy with the quality!

The second one is also fun, already have a few ideas how I could use these images:

Picked up very crisp! I'm gonna sound like a broken record here... :) Here is the link to this plate.

The third one is a mixture of florals and swirls. I love them both, I think they give a lot of options to do different designs.

The last one is a real cutie! I adore the tiny owl! Also like the leaves and the flowers are just so elegant and delicate!

All in all this collection is again a bunch of amazing plates and future ideas of many manis comming! :) Not so happy about the time of shipping, but another look on that owl, and I can forgive! :)

Bonus picture: When you try to get your camera focused, and it just doesn't want to do anything else but stare at your beautiful orchids in full bloom! ;)
