Big Bang from Picture Polish

Hi guys! Another review for the weekend with the polish I wanted to try the most! :)

Big Bang from Picture Polish

The story about this polish is funny, as I had my eyes on it for about a year now, and I was always hesitating to buy it. I did put it into my basket, then I deleted it, put it back, deleted it again... And then one day I decided to buy it, and it was out of stock. :)
This time again, I deleted it from my basket, as I was horrified by the total at the checkout, but then I told myself, now or never! So went back, and finally grabbed it.

I still don't know what I was waiting for, why I was playing with this purchase for so long??? (CBL's Rain is the other polish which has the same kind of journey in and out of my shopping trolley)

Anyway, back to the polish!
It is a gorgeous dark navy blue base, leaning a little to purple, which is definitely visible at the first coat:

The polish has an amazing formula, it's not too thin, not too thick, doesn't want to flood my cuticles, and it was easy to glide it on my nails. I have to mention it here, that I love the wide brush these polishes are coming with!
It has a lot of silver micro shreds in it with a decent amount of multi coloured shredded glitter. It's really, really pretty, and the colorfulness gives it a kick, a right amount of someth'n... someth'n (after Lindsay)

The second coat went on like a dream, and it was fully opaque in two coats. The second layer also gives the dark blue colour back, what you can see in the bottle.
There is also a hidden depth to this polish, as the sparkle from the first coat is coming trough.
All the glitter madness came alive when I added a topcoat:

Love, love, love this polish!

I tried to make some closer pictures as well capturing the sunlight in this tiny Cosmos on my nail:

All in all, I'm really happy, that I eventually bought this polish! I'm absolutely in love with it!
It's not an in your face boom! colour, but it has a little extra, which makes it stand out, and it becomes one of my most unique polishes!

I hope you enjoyed this review, and thank you for stopping by! Xxx

The Unicorns are coming from Starrily

Hi guys! Here I have the most requested polish review from my recent purchase.

I have to admit, it did catch my eyes straight away on the website, as I'm very into glitter toppers at the moment (ok, the name was a big help as well). This is an iridescent glitter topper, one of it's kind...

Ladies and Gentleman, here it is:

The Unicorns are coming from Starrily

Just looking at the polish trough the glass gives me goosebumps, and I could stay in this mesmerizing moment forever! The more I look, the more colours I see! It's like a kaleidoscope of gorgeousness! :)

A bit more Unicorn porn:

It has various sizes of iridescent hexagon glitters, and also micro glitters. It is a topper, but it is a very very dense topper. Of course, I had to try it. Here is one coat:

It looks very sheer, but that's ok, as it is a topper, but there is such an insane amount of glitter in it, that it gives a really good coverage.

Can we just stop for a minute and admire the endless colours of a rainbow, what is captured in this tiny bottle:

It is soooooo pretty!!!!!!!

I did a second coat, just to see, how it builds up, and although the glitters are see trough, because of the iridescence in certain lights it gives full coverage.

Here it is in direct sunlight:

And in the shadow:

It's a bit lumpy and bumpy because of the ton of glitters, but it's well worth it! I haven't used a topcoat with this swatch.

I haven't tried it on a darker colour yet, but regarding the picture on the website, it will look awesome!!!

Out of the five this is definitely the most beautiful and most versatile polish! And definitely the one I made the most picture of! :)

I hope you enjoyed this review, and thank you for stopping by! Xxx

My first order from LiveLovePolish featuring Starrily and Picture Polish

Hi guys, today I have a very exciting review for you! :)

My first order from LiveLovePolish.com arrived yesterday, and I couldn't have spent my time better today, than playing around with the stunning polishes!

The delivery was extremely fast, I received the parcel within 5 days from the USA. It came with priority postage via FedEx, and I also had a tracking number, which I could use to follow up the journey of the precious parcel. Huge thank you for LiveLovePolish!!!
I have to admit, there was a little bit of OMG because of the severe weather conditions in the States, but luckily that seamed not to be a problem.

Let's have an overview of the five gorgeous polishes I bought:

My main object of the purchase was Gumballs from Starrily, but when I was dropping it in my basket, I couldn't resist to adore her sisters, and accidentally they fall after her, giving her company. :D

Big Bang was on my wishlist forever, and this is one of the polishes, which are very tricky. It went into my basket, than went out again... And in, and out... Eventually I bought it, and when I swatched it today, I asked myself: What the heck I was waiting for so long???

Let's go trough the names of the polishes I bought from left to right:

- Gumballs
- The Unicorns are coming (love the name!!!)
- Neutrino
- The Matrix
- Big Bang

I have to say, I'm absolutely over the Moon with every single one of them, they are all amazingly gorgeous!

(Shall I mention, that I already have another two polishes in my basket...) :)

Please let me know, which one of the five you would like to see first! :)

I hope you enjoyed this review and thank you for stopping by! Xxx

Scar Tissue from Glam Polish

Hi guys, here I have another gorgeous polish for you! :)

I remember watching JessFace90's swatch video on YouTube of Glam Polish's Darkly Dreaming Collection, and I was like: OMG!!! I want them all!!! :)

This collection was inspired by the TV Show "Dexter". I love that show, so it was kind of not a question, that there are must have colours within the nine colours for me!

I did some rumbling trough my collection, and pulled out this gorgeousness:

Scar Tissue

It is a stunning dark berry/wine coloured polish with a ton of holographic glitter in it. The blue and orange shift is very outstanding in the holographic rainbow.

Here is a bottle shot, which unfortunately doesn't gives the sparkle back, but you can see the golden orange and the blue showing their beauty:

The first coat is nearly opaque, not just because the polish is very pigmented, but because of the unbelievable amount of glitter in it.

The second coat did darkened the colour slightly, and gave the glitter more depth.
Overall, this is one of my most beautiful polishes, excellent formula, amazing sparkle in every light!

Glam Polish is one of my favorite brands, they have stunning glitters and colours! The consistency is constantly flawless, I do highly recommend this brand to everyone!

I hope you enjoyed this review, and thank you for stopping by! XXx

Cherry Luxe from ILNP

Hi guys, and welcome back to another review.

On today's blog I have the stunning Cherry Luxe from ILNP .

It is a cherry red polish with blue, gold, green holographic ultra micro glitter and also a ton of silver flakies. At one moment I couldn't decide, if it has red flakies as well, or is it just the base which is coloring the silver ones.
Stunning, stunning polish!

It went on like a dream, it's the perfect consistency, was not running to sides of my nails, covered very evenly and the most amazing feature, this was opaque on me in just one coat!

I did my nails quiet late last night, and randomly choose a polish, but I was very surprised, how pigmented this polish is. It might deepen the colour slightly with a second coat, but the one coat is very close in colour to the varnish in the bottle.
The lot of flakies and glitters also help, and if you are looking for a quick and awesome polish, this is it!

I tried to give the gorgeousness back with this bottle shot, but it's kind of difficult. I could stare at the bottle for hours!

All in all, this is a beautiful polish for the every day, can be special for the festive season, or just for a night out as it has a lot of sparkle and bling, definitely eye catching !

I hope you enjoyed this review, and thank you for stopping by! XXx

Unobtainium from Powder Perfect

Hi guys, and welcome back to another review.

I have a huge pile of newbies on my desk right now, and they are all stunning. However, I never tried any polish from this brand, and it kind of caught my eye...

This is Unobtainium from Powder Perfect. What could I say... Amazing!!!

As always, I started with a base coat, I won't tell you this time, as I don't want to be boring...

The first coat went on like a dream, it is the perfect consistency, smooth, easy to apply, regardless of the huge amount of shredded glitter in this gorgeous holographic base.

Here is one coat:

As you can see it is a bit sheer, but considering this more like a glitter polish, I'm happy with that.
There is so much going on in just one coat, that I barely could take my eyes off...

I had to stop to admire the polish in the bottle:

I'm pretty sure you will see, what I see... It is just breath taking! :)

Here is another shot:

It is really really pretty!
The silver holographic base is leaning to green, almost like a duochrome, but not in direct light it also has a pink shimmer running trough.
Those green shreds are absolutely stunning, they are very dense, but don't overwhelm the rainbow in the holographic.

Here is two coats without topcoat:

I have to admit, this polish is more like a topper, it is not opaque in two coats, but it is opaque in two coats.
Yes, you might think now, I'm crazy. But if you look at the picture above, it looks completely opaque, there is no visible smile line. That is because of the ton of glitter and shimmer running trough.

Here is a picture with the light behind:

So it is not full coverage, but you wont be able to see any nail line, thanks to the amount of gorgeousness packed in this polish! :)

Here is the end result with topcoat:

There is just one word left: Insane!!!

Amazing polish, really unique, and unbelievably sparkly! It does have the full spectrum of colours!

I can not wait to show this off tomorrow, or simply just stare at it!

I hope you enjoyed this review and thank you for stopping by! Xxx

The ever so gorgeous Kashmir from Pretty Serious

Hi guys, and welcome to the review of another stunning polish!

Today I have the unbelievable Kashmir from Pretty Serious on my nails...

As always I started with my trusted Stuck on Blu! from Glisten&Glow. :)
I do love this base coat, never ever had any chipping when I used it! I also use it on my clients, and very very rarely I have problems with.
Huge thank you to Jill, who is supplying the nail world with this amazing base coat!

Moving on to the star of the evening!

I always do a picture with the first coat, just to give you an idea how sheer the polish is, and how good it builds up.

This time I can not share the picture with you! Ladies and gentleman, this polish for me is a one-coater!!!
Yes! :) It is a dark colour, but dark colours won't necessarily be opaque in just one coat!
I do tempt to work with thicker coats, so depending on your application you might need two.

This is a dark purple/eggplant colour is jam packed with purple gold and pink ultra micro glitter. It also has a lot of bigger hot pink/red (can't really tell) shards in it, which gives it an extra twist.

As I move the bottle around, the gold glitter shifts to like a lavender/lilac colour, very very unique!

It does have a more pink undertone in real life, the picture doesn't gives the pink back.

All in all it is a stunning and unique colour, which is just perfect for the cosy wintery days! :)

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you liked this post! Xxx

Peppermint bark by Bear Pawlish

Hi guys!

Another quick post this late (I'm a night owl)...

This post is all about Peppermint bark from Bear Pawlish.

This beauty is a white crelly base with a ton of red metallic and holographic glitter in different shapes and sizes.
It also got a very tiny silver micro holographic glitter included as a bonus.

Here you can see one coat:

I have to admit, at this point I raised an eyebrow, as I'm not really a fan of sheer polishes, but that is kind of the purpose of crelly polishes, giving the glitter inside the chance to shine. :)

As I tried to multitask, I forgot to take a picture with the second coat on, but surprisingly it did build up very well, I just had a few uneven spots, after I tried to place some glitter.

I would like to mention it here, that it is absolutely jam packed with glitter, there was no need for fishing. A little placement won't hurt, but I'm very satisfied with the density.

So I ended up with three thin coats, and let me tell you, I'm really liking it!

I'm not a huge fan of crelly polishes, especially with glitter in it, so I don't have a logical explanation why I bought this polish.

In all honesty, I like to do mistakes like this!

Here is the end result with a topcoat:

It did dried a little bit gritty because of the glitter, but one coat of topcoat did smooth everything out.

It does gives me a bit of the festive feeling back, but that might be because of the name... I absolutely can imagine using this polish for Valentine's Day! ;)

I hope you liked this post, and thank you for visiting! Xxx

The stunning 3rd Anniversary polish from Lacquer Lust

Hi guys! Just a quick post about the polish I had to have on my nails! :)

Out of the tonne of gorgeous nail polishes you saw in my previous post, I couldn't resist and choose the one polish, which stood out to me from the first second...

Third Times a Charm from Lacquer Lust created for their 3rd Anniversary.

I started with my trusted base coat, Stuck on Blu from Glisten&Glow, except of my ring finger, where I used Ãœnt Cosmetic's Peel off base coat to test it the very first time.
(Yes, I do have a little yellow staining at the tips, but it is the remaining bit from the ever so gorgeous Penny for your Thoughts from Colors by Llarowe, and I prefer to wait until it grows out, instead of filing off the top layer of my nails)

Here you see one coat of Third Times a Charm:

It is a bit sheer, but as it is a black jelly polish with a ridiculous amount of glitter, so we don't want to cover up those pretties with the second coat. It dries very fast, so I had to be quick with the application, but as you can see in some spots it dragged itself off with the next brush stroke.

The second coat went on, and did build up amazingly! This polish is opaque in two coats, and the unbelievable amount of sparkle you get from the stunning colorfulness of all the glitter in it is just breathtaking!

It did dry very fast again, and I had a tiny struggle at the sides to get it even, but nothing horrible.
Also dried a bit dull and gritty because of the insane amount of glitter, so I definitely would recommend to use a good thick topcoat, maybe even two coats to even everything out, and bring the glitters to live.

The end result is simply stunning, and I think I run out of words to describe this really awesome polish!

If you like glitter, if you like sparkle, and unique polishes, you definitely NEED this one in your collection!!! I'm very very happy, that I picked it up!

I hope you enjoyed my review, and thank you for visiting! :) Xx

To do or not to do? That is my question

In our world nowadays it seems, that whatever you are looking for, whatever your question is, there is one endless place what can give you all the answers. This is the internet.
I do remember of times without computers (yes, age issues), and it was fun! But if I look at it today... WOW, it's completely different! For example, just imagine, you like candy, and there is a new store opening in the city. You go in, and after a few steps, you are in shock! Wherever you look are sweets, bonbons, chocolate... you name it. To go trough all the variety would be overwhelming, so let's narrow it down a bit.
I am a self confessed nail polish addict. I wake up thinking about them, I talk about them all the time, I collect them and they are pretty much a big part of my life. I love everything about them, the smell, the bottles, the designs, the glam, all the methods which give you unique finishes and the colours (OMG, the colours!!!) I thought there is no way, that there are other crazy people like me out there. Well, this changed completely, when I started to look for some nail art designs on the internet...
Holy polish! I've been sucked in to this bottomless swirl of pictures, videos, swatches and blogs. It feels like a constant euphoria, which not just ever stops, but adds onto it every single day... If there is an addiction I never want to quit, than this is it!
After a while in this beautiful and colourful chaos of gazillions of informations, I saw a pattern rising up. I did find my favorite swatcher, I follow the person, who makes the best pictures and macros of all kind of nail polish, and of course, I did find my favorite bloggers. I would like to mention it here, that I impatiently waiting for the newest posts, clips, or pictures. If you feel at this point, that this might describe how you feel, don't panic! That's normal! It just shows, that you are officially addicted to something amazing!
I have to admit, I was reading endless pages of descriptions, opinions, watched hours of swatches and hauls. I never got bored of it... And then, one day this weird thought root in my mind, and it is still growing.
"Shall I be a blogger?" Well, if you ask yourself once, you are lost... It might be, "Yes, let's do this!", and there you start. Or, you can find yourself in this wide ocean of hesitation (as I did). As you paddle, all the questions of hesitation bombard your boat like waves:
"I don't know how to start...!", "Why shall I do it, there are so many of them...", "Will someone read it at all?", "What if people don't like my style?", "Can I show them something new, something unique?", "What if I don't have time to write, will I have negative comments?" And this is going on and on and on... Arrrgggggg.....
My answer is: YES! What can you loose? But this is not really the question. What can you gain? You might find a side of yourself what you never knew about!
Yes, you may have another moment of "Am I sure about this?" but just do it! The beautiful thing in human nature is, that we are all individuals, with one common thing: curiosity. That little feeling drives us forward, gives us motivation and strength. With that, people will find your words! They might find it "Mahh...", but they also might find it very useful, interesting and enjoyable!
Don't forget: we are all different! And different people will look for different styles, different descriptions and different designs. There will be always space for another opinion! For your own and unique opinion! Nearly forgot to mention all the wonderful people who you can meet during your journey!
Before you run off to look for possibilities of how to create a blog, just remind yourself, that if you don't share your thoughts with other people, they might not find the hidden gem inside you! The more you share, the more will other people and You discover!

The outcome might be the most wonderful feeling you ever experienced!

Clear stamper - first impressions

Hi guys!

Today I received my clear stamper from AliExpress. :)

Yes, I had to wait ages (nearly 5 weeks) to arrive, so I couldn't wait to try it, and also there was a lot of interest from the lovely ladies in a facebook group.

First I was a bit afraid, that it will be very firm - as I saw a few videos on youtube  - and will be difficult to use. Luckily, it is more squishy then firm. It is a bit firmer than my trusted Creative Stamper, but still squishy enough to press my whole nail into.

So quickly grabbed a stamping plate and polish, trying to hide my excitement. Nearly started to think about how will I prep this stamper, if it does not picks up the image? Filing is not an option, as it would damage the purpose of the stamper, same thing with cleaning it with Acetone...

Second surprise, it picked up the image beautifully!

I love how it turned out! Not even mention, that I can see trough... I can see trough... :D

Had to try a second time, and stamp the image on a piece of paper to see how it transfers:

Yay! Another victory! :)

I suddenly can not see the end of designs what I can create with this, but even for just a normal stamping, it will give me so much satisfaction, that I actually can see what I'm doing!
Really looking forward to make some nail art what requires exact placement.

Overall, I'm absolutely happy with my purchase, and a huge thank you for that person, who thought about first creating the clear stamper! :)

First manicure of the year 2016

Hi guys, and welcome to my first blog post...

I'm very very new to blogging... I just wanted to have a little space for myself, where I can not just collect, but also share all my nail art, and pictures of my polishes  with you! :)

So I thought I will kick start the year with stamping, which is one of my favorite nail art.

I used only a few items, and as I'm a big fan of monochrome, I went for black and white design.

For base coat I used my trusted "Stuck on Blu" from Glisten&Glow, then I went on using OPI's Cement the Deal from the "Fifty shades of Grey" Collection.

(Please excuse the angle, hubby took the picture, as I forgot to make it :D)

Just to sparkle up everything, I had to put on a holographic topcoat, "Leather and Lace" from Colors by Llarowe.

I didn't wanted to cover all this gorgeousness up, so I choose a small design, and stamped on with my one and only Creative Stamper, and used black and white stamping polish from MoYou London.

To finish my manicure I used Seche Vite.

Please let me know, if you like my design, as a complete newbie, I'm eager to have any feedback!

Thank you so much for stopping by, hope to see you soon! Xx
